For honing we manly use synthetic diamond and CBN(cubic boron nitride)-crystals. They stand out due to their excellent splinting qualities.

The extreme hardness of diamond and CBN ensures excellent service life for your abrasive stones. The abrasive stones are either produced as pre-finished compact abrasive stones with expansion angle or as standard abrasive stones to be fixed on a support strip.

The suitable abrasive and bonding for your application is determined by experienced technicians for honing in our premises.

The following characteristics are necessary to find the optimal abrasive stone that meets your specific requirements: specific material, hardness, stability, material allowance, surface finish, honing duration, honing diameter, position of the bore, designation of the tool, expansion system and coolant.
